This program is a transition between a traditional school and a traditional homeschool.  When a student in grades 3-8 is registered with this program, he is first given a diagnostic test to determine his academic placement.  Then his curriculum is prescribed for him based on his individual strengths and weaknesses. A high school student's transcript will be evaluated to see what credits are needed for graduation. The Correspondence Supervisor will design and set up a curriculum plan for the entire school year.  She will then mail him his first two sets of assignments to complete.  As he works on them, he can call Daniel 1 to speak with his supervisor or to set up meetings with his own personal tutor if he needs help that his parents cannot give.  After he finishes his first set of assignments, he mails his completed work to the academy and begins working on the second set.  Meanwhile his supervisor will receive and grade his first set and will then mail the 3rd set of assignments.  If this process is followed, then there is no "down-time" when the student does not have school work to study.  All record-keeping is done by Daniel 1 staff.

The great benefits of this program include the individually prescribed curriculum, individual tutoring and increased accountability as well as the parents' freedom from the stress of choosing curriculum and determining grades.
